English.png English text <poem> We hurried in the dark morning and all the pathway long the spices we carried gathered and clung to our hair.

The brush murmured around me like the ghosts of thieves. Soon we would see the great stone imprisoning him.

But the way was free, and a beautiful figure sat within his empty tomb.

As I returned, still trembling with fear and joy, suddenly he appeared in my path, glowing with sweetness, saying "Mary, don't be afraid." And I knelt at his feet and worshipped him in the stillness.

Because I was lesser they did not believe me, and later he came to them on the mountain. But there in the garden he came to me alone, and stood unmoving to say, "Mary, don't be afraid."
