Michael Winikoff is a computer scientist and musician. As a computer scientist his background is academic but he has also spent some time working in industry. He is a Professor at Victoria University of Wellington, in New Zealand (before moving to New Zealand he was at RMIT University, in Melbourne, Australia).
As a musician, he is into classical music and is heavily involved with choirs, both as a chorister, as an accompanist (and sometime conductor), and as a composer.

Biography

Michael Winikoff is a computer scientist and musician. As a computer scientist his background is academic but he has also spent some time working in industry. He is a Professor at Victoria University of Wellington, in New Zealand (before moving to New Zealand he was at RMIT University, in Melbourne, Australia). As a musician, he is into classical music and is heavily involved with choirs, both as a chorister, as an accompanist (and sometime conductor), and as a composer.
