Nativitas tua, Dei Genitrix Virgo,
gaudium annuntiavit universo mundo:
Ex te enim ortus est Sol iustitiae, Christus Deus noster,
qui solvens maledictionem dedit benedictionem,
et confundens mortem donavit nobis vitam sempiternam.

A te születésed, Isten szűz anyja,
örömet hirdetett az egész világnak:
belőled született ugyanis az Igazság Napja, Krisztus, a mi Istenünk,
aki feloldotta az átkot, áldást hozott,
összezavarta a halált és örök életet adományozott nekünk.

English.png English translation

Thy Nativity, O Virgin Mother of God,
announced joy to the whole world:
For out of thee arose the Sun of justice, Christ our God,
who paying for the curse, gave blessing,
and confounding death, gave us life eternal.
