- Edition notes: Transposed down a fourth. Even at this pitch, one of the bass parts is suitable for baritone or fairly low tenor. The source used for this edition was Neuber and Berg, Nuremberg, 1555: as it presented no problems, no other source was consulted.

Description: This must have been a popular work, as it appears in no fewer than 6 contemporary printed sources (from Ferrara, Milan, Venice, Geneva, Lyon and Nuremberg), as well as in manuscript (Rostock). This is the second "Non turbetur" for five voices to appear by Phinot. The earlier work first appeared anonymously in 1539.
