Life

Flourished: 1524–1545

Biography

Alcock was admitted a lay vicar at Lichfield Cathedral in 1524 until at least October 1527. Later he was Master of the Choristers at the collegiate church of the Holy Cross at Crediton, Devon, which surrendered to Henry VIII’s commissioners on 27 May 1545.
