Reloj que señala la ora felice, que al angel me iguala, mi gloria predice, la ora que da. Da, da, da eternos favores, da mil para bienes, da dulces amores, da gozos y bienes. En candida esfera, en donde hoy está, da.

Recitative

Ay que cada minuto que pasa sin que yo le considere, que por mí nace, y por mi culpa muere, pagando deuda el libre de tributo, que era mi cargo propio, y absoluto, y que para que viva confiado en trigo ese tesoro me ha dejado cada instante, que aparto mi memoria un siglo pierdo, de inefable gloria.Y cuanto aquel reloj se me adelanta, en tal clemencia, y en fineza tanta se atrasan mis consuelos, llegue la ora en que le sirva, o cielos!

Aria

Aun en música sonora, esta puesto y manifiesto, aquel reloj celestial. Pues de su muerte y pasión, es dulce repetición, suspendiendo, y atrayendo, conterneza sin igual.
