12 Flores apparuerunt in terra, tempus putationis advenit. 13 Ficus protulit grossos suos; vineae florentes dederunt odorem suum. 14 Columba mea, in foraminibus petrae, in caverna maceriae, ostende mihi faciem tuam, sonet vox tua in auribus meis: vox enim tua dulcis, et facies tua decora.

English translation 10b Arise, my love, my dove, my fair one, and come away; 11 for now the winter is past, the rain is over and gone. 12 The flowers appear on the earth; the time of pruning has come, 13 The fig tree puts forth its figs, and the vines are in blossom; they give forth fragrance. 14 O my dove, who is in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the stairs, let me see your countenance, let me hear your voice; for sweet is your voice, and your countenance is comely. |
