Template:Lcat

Lcat stands for "LanguageCat". It is loosely based on {{cat}}, similarly creating a link to a category (in this case, "Category:Works in «language»"). It also categorizes the work in that same category.

Lcat is primarily used inside template {{Language}}. The parameter can be typed with initial lower- or uppercase, not affecting the template results.

Examples:

{{lcat|English}} or

{{lcat|english}}

displays English and categorizes the work in Works in English.

{{lcat|Unspecified}} or

{{lcat|unspecified}}

displays Unspecified and categorizes the work in Works in unspecified language.
