There sat a Frog in a river bed,
Croak! croak! croak!
“I wish I were big as an ox,” he said,
It would be a joke!”

So he swelled himself out as a little frog would,
Puff! puff! puff!
But tho’ he did it as much as he could,
It wasn’t enough!

Then sadly down on the bank he lay!
Croak! croak! croak!
And he did what a banker sometimes may.
He broke!
