English text
Luke 24:5-7
Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen!
Remember how He spake unto you when He was yet in Galilee, Saying,
The Son of man must be delivered in to the hands of sinful men,
and be crucified, and the third day rise again.
He is risen, Alleluia, Alleluia, Christ is risen from the dead.
Hymn 135 A.& M.
Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia!
The strife is o'er, the battle done;
Now is the Victor's triumph won,
O let the song of praise be sung,
Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia!
Death's mightiest powers have done their worst,
And Jesus hath His foes dispers'd;
Let shouts of praise and joy outburst,
Amen.
