This goet te belyden God om zyn weldaet,
u naem te singen gy zyt grot geacht,
u goetheit te preken in den dageraet,
u warheit te vertellen in der nacht.
Met herpen geclanck, met lof en sang

Meet and right it is to acknowledge you, God, for your blessings,
to praise your name in song, for you are great,
to make your goodness known at dawn,
to glorify your truth in the night-time.
Let us exalt your great power, Lord,
to the sound of the harp, with devotion and with songs.
