Biography

Thomas Adlington Wallworth was born in Liverpool, Lancashire, England. He trained at the Royal Academy of Music and became Professor of Singing there. He also taught at the Guildhall School of Music. He was a well-known baritone soloist and member of the Pyne & Harrison Opera Company. He was a respected teacher and authored two books on singing: “The Art of Singing” and “A Course of Study and Practice for the Voice.” He died in Brixton, London. His compositions include an opera, songs, and part songs.
