Description: This piece is a variation for choir a cappella from the well-known canon To Stop the Train. The tone is set with a unison entry of the entire text. Then follows the canon from high to low. The canon is then sung to a countermelody. This is followed by a number of fast variations, followed by a slow fugal passage in 3-part time signature. After numerous fast and slow variations, the piece closes with a 4-part choral setting of the canon melody.
