Anthony Cekada (1951-2020) was a traditionalist Catholic priest, seminary professor and author.[1] He studied at St. Francis Seminary College, Milwaukee; the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, Milwaukee; monasteries of the Cistercian Order, and Séminaire S. Pie X, Ecône, Switzerland. He also studied composition under Michael P. Hammond,[2] choral conducting under Margaret Hawkins, and organ under William A. Eberl, a student of Marcel Dupré. He was Assistant Pastor at St. Gertrude the Great Church,[3] West Chester, Ohio, where he is in charge of music program.
He died on September 11th, 2020. Please pray for the repose of his soul.
