Previously sang countertenor at Oxford and local churches and for many years played oboe and recorders. Now play transverse flute and spend much time arranging for flute and flute choir, as well as attempting musical education of young daughter, Hattie (an excellent flautist in the making). Composition and arrangements now on Sibeliusmusic.com site, many of them free of charge. Main non-musical hobby, gardening. Married to Mary; four children, Emily, Grace, Robin and Harriet.
