Welcome!

Hi Juliane and welcome to CPDL! Thanks so much for the editions that you've already contributed - I'm sure they'll be greatly appreciated by the many people who come to this site. Just one thing - I wonder if you could create PDF files from your Capella source files and upload those too? PDFs are the favoured file format for CPDL since almost anyone can open them. I'll create PDFs for the editions you've contributed so far. If you've never created PDF files before, please refer to the help page. If you've got any questions, just drop a note on my talk page. Many thanks! --Bobnotts talk 18:36, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

Hallo Juliane, I'd like to add my welcome to you. You probably noticed that I made some minor changes and merged some pages you had created, this is because different editions of a work usually share a single page, ok? If you have any more doubts just ask Bobnotts or me. Danke! —Carlos [[[:Template:Carlos]] Email.gif] 01:36, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

Hi, Robert!

Thanks for your message! I don't realy know how to answer... perhaps you will find my lines. I try to produce pdf's by open office but they have too many MB (more than 3MB) - or is it unimportant? LG! Juliane 19:44, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

I had the problem of PDFs being too big, so I used CutePDF which creates files of manageable sizes. It's also free. If you could create and upload PDF files of any editions that you contribute in the future, it would be really appreciated. Thanks! --Bobnotts talk 20:57, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

Fanny Hensel HELP

2 problems, I can't eliminate:
- spelling mistake (List of choral works - titel) Wandl' ich "in" (not "im") dem Wald des Abends
- "Schilflied": I wrote "Lied"; how can I alter the Schilflied to "Partsong"?
Many thanks! Juliane

Hi Juliane, the problems you listed were fixed, thanks. —Carlos [[[:Template:Carlos]] Email.gif] 00:20, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
Thank you very much, carlos!!!

Bach cantata BWV 7

Hi Julianne, welcome and many thanks for all your contributions, especially all those texts! Thank you so much. I've taken the liberty of editing over your change to BWV 7 to reflect a format that allows for subsequent additions of both the complete score and of movements 2 through 6 (for which we have no scores at present). It is my hope that this style will be adopted across all the Bach cantata pages. If I can be of any help on other matters, please feel free to leave a message on my talk page (or here, since I will put you on my watchlist). -- Chucktalk Giffen 21:49, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

Hi, Charles! Thank you for your message. I'm a absolute beginner on CPDL and fight with my PC and the english language. I hope, I don't make too many mistakes. especially I have no overview regarding the communication. So I answer here. Bach ist wonderful and I will worry about texts. "See" you! Juliane

Lord hear the voice (Mendelssohn)

Hallo, Juliane,

Adding links to copyrighted content

Hi Juliane. I've just reverted your edit to Flora gave me fairest flowers (John Wilbye), removing the link to a commercial recording of the work. We all appreciate your contributions to CPDL but you cannot add links to CPDL to copyright content. CPDL respects the intellectual property rights of others: we don't knowingly host or link to any copyright content. If you're not sure whether a link is to copyright content first ask youself "Do people normally pay for this content?" In the case of a commercial recording, one would normally buy a CD or pay for a download. Therefore, it's most likely that the recording is protected by copyright law. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them at the forums. --Bobnotts talk 10:17, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
