Videns Christum in patibulo
potatum fellis poculo,
memor esto pietatis,
qua te salvum fecit gratis.

Et post Christum feras crucem
sic habebis ipsum ducem
ad sempiterna gaudia
et in coelorum curia.

English translation

Seeing Christ on the cross
Having drunk that bitter cup,
Be mindful of that goodness,
by which he has saved you, through grace.

And carry your cross following Christ
so that you will have a guide
to eternal joys also
In the court of heaven.
