Editor: Edmund Gooch (submitted 2022-04-29).   Score information: A4, 2 pages, 62 kB   Copyright: Public Domain
Edition notes: The order of parts in the source is Tenor - Alto -Treble - Bass (identified in the first piece in the book), with the Alto and Tenor parts printed in the treble clef an octave above sounding pitch, and a keyboard accompaniment indicated in small notes on the Treble and Bass staves. This accompaniment largely doubles the inner voice parts, and has been omitted from this edition. Only the first verse of the text is given in the source: selected subsequent verses have here been added editorially, from the version of the text given as Hymn 106 in John Deacon's A New and Large Collection of Psalms and Hymns, a book prepared principally for the use of General Baptists (hence the reference to 'G. B. Colln' in the heading of this setting).
