All creation, sing in praise:
Wondrous are God's works and ways,
Ours the work that yields the fruit,
God the undergirding root.
Beating heart and breathing lung,
Body’s health and spirit’s tongue;
All of nature now must sing
To the Lord of ev’rything.

See, the world is ripening fast;
Rays their longer shadows cast:
Still the Father loves to share
All the work of father’s care.
God’s creation, human’s toil,
Rain and sun on seeded soil,
All our cultivation bring
To the Lord of ev’rything.

Who’s wishing for a wonderful world,
Dreaming of a wonderful world?
Waiting for a chance,
Watching for a change,
Wondering what miracles God will arrange?
Pining for happier days?
Whining to follow a craze
Crying for the moon?
Sighing “Why can’t someone make the world better soon?”
Wonderful world!

Who’s working for a wonderful world,
Cleaning up the mess of the world?
Digging out the waste, digging up the weeds,
Getting rid of all the rubbish nobody needs?
Kneeling and clearing the ground?
Wheeling a barrow around?
Wearing muddy boots?
Tearing ev’rything that’s harmful up by the roots?
Wonderful world!

Who’s working for a wonderful world,
Sowing seeds to grow in the world?
Taking what you have, throwing it away,
Hoping it will blossom and be fruitful one day?
Knowing what’s there in your store?
Going to open the door?
Sharing all your own?
Spreading seeds of love and wondering where they’ve blown?
Wonderful world!

Who’s working for a wonderful world,
Caring for the needs of the world?
Toiling in the fields, boiling in the heat,
Oiling the machinery or washing your feet?
Trying to manage with less?
Sighing because of the stress?
Paying what is due?
Weighing carefully what’s best for us all to do?
Wonderful world!

Who’s working for a wonderful world,
Harvesting the crop of the world?
Gathering the grain, gathering what’s grown,
Bringing in the harvest of what others have sown?
Reaping the fruit of the earth?
Keeping a sense of its worth?
Finding, if you dare,
blinding visions to inspire people ev’rywhere?
Wonderful world!

Who’s singing in this wonderful world,
Living and enjoying the world?
Relishing your work, relishing your play,
Ready to enjoy whatever happens each day?
Winning of loving or losing with style,
Grinning good-humoredly while
Prainsing all that lives,
Gazing open-mouthed a ev’rything God still gives?
Wonderful world!

God with us remakes the earth,
Brings new purposes to birth.
Inspiration, effort, will,
Concentration, patience, skill,
Health of body, strength of mind,
In them all God’s glory find.
So may we discover new
Fields for harvest, work to do.
