Biography
Charles Edward Pollock was born in Lawrence County, Pennsylvania, and moved to Jefferson City, Missouri. He worked at various jobs, such as a depot clerk and a cane maker, but was active as a musician. He died in Jefferson City. He wrote two volumes of Sunday school songs, a number of hymns and some secular songs for pedagogical use.
