Original text and translations

Latin.png Latin text

Christus surrexit
mala nostra texit
et quos hic dilexit
hos ad coelos vexit
kyrie eleison.

Et si non surrexisset
totus mundus perisset
laudemus te hodie
psallentes cantica laetitiae
kyrie eleison.

Alleluia,
laudemus te hodie
carmine laetitiae
kyrie eleison.

English.png English translation

Christ is risen
He has covered our evils
and those whom He loved here
He has carried to the heavens
Lord, have mercy.

And if He had not risen
the whole world would have perished
let us praise You today
singing songs of joy
Lord, have mercy.

Alleluia,
let us praise You today
with a song of joy
Lord, have mercy.
