Cleyne kintjen grooten Godt,
is dees plaetse uw paleys?
Moet ghy in dit arme kot,
oock nu rusten op de reys?
Moet ghy dan, O Godt van al,
rusten in een armen stal?

Heeft dan niemant in de stadt,
ofte niemant hier omtrent,
niet een plaets voor u ghehadt,
sydt ghy hier soo onbekent,
dat ghy oock, O soete kint,
hier moet rusten in den wint?
