German translation Wenn du von jemandem zur Hochzeit geladen bist, so setze dich untenan, damit, der, der dich eingeladen hat, zu dir sagt: Freund, rücke hinauf! Dann wirst du Ehre haben vor allen, die mit dir zu Tisch sitzen. |
English translation When thou art bidden to a wedding, sit down in the lowest place; that when he that bade thee says unto thee, Friend, go up higher! Then shalt thou have worship in the presence of them that sit at meat with thee. |
