Born: 26 febbraio 1677 Died: 18 febbraio 1745

Biography

Also known as Il Tarentino after his birthplace, by 1693 Fago was enrolled at the Conservatorio della Pietà de’ Turchini in Naples, the city in which he spent his career. Among his pupils were Leonardo Leo, Niccolò Jommelli, and a son, Lorenzo Fago (1704-1793).
