In Domino speravit cor meum
et dixi: Exaudi, Domine, preces servi tui,
illumina faciem tuam super servum tuum,
super quem invocatum est nomen tuum.
Deus, tu es Deus meus:
in manibus tuis vita mea et tempora mea.
In manibus tuis adjutus sum ab eo,
et refloruit caro mea,
et ex voluntate mea confitebor illi.

Benedicam Dominum qui tribuit mihi intellectum.
Providebam Deum in conspectu meo semper:
quoniam a dextris est mihi, ne commovear.
Fortitudo mea et laus mea Dominus,
et factus est mihi in salutem.
Confitebor illi et invocabo nomen tuum,
annunciabo inter gentes opera et misericordiam ejus,
et in conspectu angelorum psallam ei in aeternum.

English.png English translation

My heart has trusted in the Lord,
and I said: Hear, O Lord, the prayers of your servant;
let your face shine upon your servant,
upon whom your name has been invoked.
O God, you are my God:
my life and my times are in your hands.
In your hands I was helped by him,
and my flesh has flourished again,
and of my own will I will give him thanks.

I will bless the Lord who has given me understanding.
I kept the Lord always before my eyes:
for he is at my right hand, lest I be moved.
The Lord is my strength and my song,
and he has become my salvation.
I will give thanks to him and call upon your name;
I will declare his works and his mercy among the nations,
and in the presence of the angels I will sing to him forever.
