French text Pour presenter a vous tousiours loyal ostant de mon cueur la tristesse facieuse, lhonneur y contredict mais amour consente. Ie ne refuse de vous estre' amourseuse, tant que mon ame du corps sera contente. En trop delaissant abuser ma simplesse servante suis rendu a vostre noblesse. Modern French Pour me présenter à vous toujours loyale, ôtant de mon cœur la tristesse désagréable, l’honneur contredit ce que l'amour consent. Je ne refuse pas d'être votre amoureuse, tant que mon âme sera content de mon corps. En délaissant trop abuser de ma naïveté, servante suis rendue à votre noblesse.

English translation In trying to appear as your loyal handmaiden, trying to ban sadnesse from my heart, my honour has forbidden that to which love consents. I no longer refuse to be your lover, as long as my soul can bear what my body does. And thus, by your abusing my naivety, I find myself the servant of your grace.
