Latin.png Latin text

Repleatur os meum laude tua,
ut hymnum dicam gloriae tuae,
tota die magnitudinem tuam.
Noli me projicere in tempore senectutis meae,
dum defecerit virtus mea,
ne derelinquas me.

Exurge, gloria mea;
exurge, psalterium et cithara:
exurgam diluculo.
Cantabo et psalmum dicam Domino,
et laudabo Deum meum in vita mea.

English.png English translation

Let my mouth be filled with your praise,
that I may sing a hymn to your glory,
and tell of your greatness all the day long.
Do not cast me off in the time of old age;
when my strength fails,
do not forsake me.

Awake, my glory!
Awake, psaltery and harp:
I will arise early.
I will sing and make music to the Lord,
and I will praise my God all my life.
