Edition notes: For the middle part before the refrain is repeated, the edition includes two alternative versions. One is the original Latin verse from the Graduale Romanum, the other one is an English translation of the preceding Latin text. The latter version might be useful as a self-explanatory "subtitle".

Description: A Christamas motet commissioned by the "Schola Cantorum of Most Precious Blood of Jesus Parish" (Pittsburgh, USA), which is directed by John Rokosz. The exuberant style is reminiscent of the late 16th century (e.g. Gabrieli), and the motet includes many musical interpretations of the text.
