Description: This is one of Maillard's most widely distributed motets. In addition to a number of continental publications, it appears, untexted and with a few minor rhythmic differences, in a couple of English sources: British Library Add. MS 31390, where it is ascribed to "mr {maillart / Italyan}" and the Dow Partbooks (Chrish Church, Oxford, Mus. 980-984), incorrectly attributed to Christopher Tye.
