Harmonia cantionum ecclesiasticarum, described on the titlepage as "Kirchengesenge u. geistliche Lieder D. Lutheri u. andrer frommen Christen. Mit 4 Stimmen contrapunkts-weise richtig gesetzt…durch Sethum Calvisium Cantorum zu S. Thomas in Leipzig, was published in Leipzig in 1597 and reprinted in 1598, 1604, 1612 and 1622. It contains Chorales for the Lutheran Church year harmonized in 4 parts in choirbook format, as well as a substantial preface.
