In the beginning was the word,
Im Anfang war das Wort.

And the word was with God
Und das Wort war bei Gott

ignocce Dominus Deus noster

and the word was God,
und das Wort war Gott,

qui aperis librum
et solvis signacula eius.

Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening the voice of his words.
Lobt den HERRN, ihr Engel, ihr starken Helden, die seine Befehle ausrichten, auf das wir hören sein Wort.
