Born: 7 July 1870 Barmstedt, Holstein, Germany

Died: 8 June 1932 Baltimore, Maryland, USA

Biography

Bochau was a member of the voice faculty of the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore from 1897 to 1932. He also served as director of the conservatory's glee club and was one of the founders of the Johns Hopkins Symphony Orchestra.
