English text
Cruel, let my heart be blessed;
No life is sweet with heart oppressed.
For though my greater griefs be flying,
My smile is turned to sighing.
And when I would thy praise be singing,
Alas, my heart is sore with stinging.
Yet for this woe if thou dost languish,
O then I die with anguish.
