Latin.png Latin text

Domine Deus, Rex magne et omnipotens,
avertatur, obsecro, ira tua,
et vide tribulationem nostram,
et libera nos.

Exaudi, domine, placare, domine,
attende et fac, ne moreris,
quia nomen sanctum tuum invocatum est
ab ecclesia catholica
et super populum tuum Christianum
in secula seculorum.,amen.

German.png German translation

Herr Gott, großer und allmächtiger König,
ich flehe dich an, wende ab deinen Zorn,
und sieh an unsere Drangsal
und befreie uns.

Erhöre uns, Herr, besänftige dich, Herr,
achte auf uns und handle, zögere nicht,
weil dein heiliger Name angerufen wird
von der katholischen Kirche
und über dein christliches Volk
in Ewigkeit, amen.

Translation by Gerhard Weydt
English.png English translation

Lord God, great and omnipotent king,
I beseech you, avert your wrath,
and behold our trouble
and set us free.

Hear, Lord, be placated, Lord,
regard us and act, do not delay,
for your holy name is invoked
by the catholic church
and upon your Christian people
for ever and ever, amen.

Translation by Gerhard Weydt
