English text
Hail the dawning day!
Driving cares away.
Thus a radiant breezy morn
Follows oft a night forlorn.
Through the years
Mingled tears
And laughter every day are born.
After rainy morn,
Tempest tossed and torn
Sets the twilight clear and calm,
Soothing grief with heavenly balm;
Dried our tears,
Stilled our fears,
Soft we rest secure from harm.
