Original text and translations may be found at Lamentations of Jeremiah. Lassus divides the 9 Lessons differently than LU, as follows: Lamentations 1:1-6; 7-11; 12-16; 2:8-12; 13-18; 3:1-12; 22-33; 4:1-7; 5:1-16.

The 2 added verses at the end of Thursday Lectio III are:

Latin text 1:15 SAMECH. Abstulit omnes magnificos meos Dominus de medio mei; vocavit adversum me tempus ut conteret electos meos. Torcular calcavit Dominus virgini, filiae Juda. 1:16 AIN. Idcirco ego plorans, et oculus meus deducens aquas, quia longe factus est a me consolator, convertens animam meam. Facti sunt filii mei perditi, quoniam invaluit inimicus.

English translation SAMECH. “The Lord flouted all my mighty men in the midst of me; he summoned an assembly against me to crush my young men; the Lord has trodden as in a wine press the virgin daughter of Judah. AIN. “For these things I weep; my eyes flow with tears; for a comforter is far from me, one to revive my courage; my children are desolate, for the enemy has prevailed.”

The added verses for Friday are:

Aperuerunt super te os suum omnes inimici tui: sibilaverunt, et fremuerunt dentibus, et dixerunt: Devorabimus: en ista est dies quam exspectabamus; invenimus, vidimus. 2:17  Ain. Fecit Dominus quæ cogitavit; complevit sermonem suum, quem præceperat a diebus antiquis: destruxit, et non pepercit, et lætificavit super te inimicum, et exaltavit cornu hostium tuorum. 2:18  Sade. Clamavit cor eorum ad Dominum super muros filiæ Sion: Deduc quasi torrentem lacrimas per diem et noctem; non des requiem tibi, neque taceat pupilla oculi tui.

English translation 2:16  All your enemies rail against you; they hiss, they gnash their teeth, they cry: "We have destroyed her! Ah, this is the day we longed for; now we have it; we see it!" 2:17  The Lord has done what he purposed, has carried out his threat; as he ordained long ago, he has demolished without pity; he has made the enemy rejoice over you, and exalted the might of your foes. 2:18  Cry aloud to the Lord! O daughter of Zion! Let tears stream down like a torrent day and night! Give yourself no rest, your eyes no respite!

Latin text 3:10  Daleth. Ursus insidians factus est mihi, leo in absconditis. 3:11  Daleth. Semitas meas subvertit, et confregit me; posuit me desolatam. 3:12  Daleth. Tetendit arcum suum, et posuit me quasi signum ad sagittam.

English translation 3:10  He is to me like a bear lying in wait, like a lion in hiding; 3:11  He led me off my way and tore me to pieces; he has made me desolate; 3:12  he bent his bow and set me as a mark for his arrow.

For Saturday:

Latin text 3:31   Caph. Quia non repellet in sempiternum Dominus. 3:32  Caph. Quia si abjecit, et miserebitur, secundum multitudinem misericordiarum suarum. 3:33  Caph. Non enim humiliavit ex corde suo et abjecit filios hominum.

English translation For the Lord will not cast off for ever, but, though he cause grief, he will have compassion according to the abundance of his steadfast love; for he does not willingly afflict or grieve the sons of men.

Latin text 4:7  Zain. Candidiores Nazaræi ejus nive, nitidiores lacte, rubicundiores ebore antiquo, sapphiro pulchriores.

English translation Her princes were purer than snow, whiter than milk; their bodies were more ruddy than coral, the beauty of their form was like sapphire.

Latin text 5:12  Principes manu suspensi sunt; facies senum non erubuerunt. 5:13  Adolescentibus impudice abusi sunt, et pueri in ligno corruerunt. 5:14  Senes defecerunt de portis, juvenes de choro psallentium. 5:15  Defecit gaudium cordis nostri; versus est in luctum chorus noster. 5:16  Cecidit corona capitis nostri: væ nobis, quia peccavimus!

English translation "Princes are hung up by their hands; no respect is shown to the elders. 13. Young men are compelled to grind at the mill; and boys stagger under loads of wood. 14. The old men have quit the city gate, the young men their music. 15. The joy of our hearts has ceased; our dancing has been turned to mourning. 16. The crown has fallen from our head; woe to us, for we have sinned!
