This is the second set in the sixth tone where the even verses are set polyphonically. The original print does not give the odd verses in chant to be sung alternatim with the polyphony. Most of the polyphonic sections are in four voices but verse 8 Esurientes implevit bonis is a SAB trio and the final Sicut erat in principio is for six voices SSATBB.
