Biography
Michael Kraf was a German composer, possibly educated at the Jesuit College at Fulda. During the Thirty Years War, he was employed by the abbey at Weingarten as organist / composer, and managed to save it from destruction by a protestant army. In 1633 he was elected burgomaster of Weingarten, and discontinued his musical career.
