Description: This mass in the second tone is the second of ten masses in the collection Messe a Quatro voci pari ... sopra li Otto Toni della Musica. The collection, that consists of two setts of partbooks, was first printed by Antonio Gardano in 1574, reprinted by Angelo Gardano 1580 and reprinted a second time by Giacomo Vincenzi and Ricciardo Amadino 1586.
