French text Nous te loüons bon Dieu, des biens que nous offre ta bonté, Pour nourrir notre corps, qui n'a vigueur que de toy. Au Pere soit tout honneur, au tressanct Esprit et au Fils: Tel qu'il estoit, et qu'il est, et sera sans fin. Amen.

English text (Literal) We praise you good God, for the goodness that to us is offered by your kindness, To nourish our body, which has no vigor except from you. To the Father be all honor, and to the Most Holy Spirit and to the Son: As it was, and it is, and shall be without end. Amen.

English text (Metrical) We honor you, good God, for bounty we gain from your favor, To feed our mortal frame, which has no life but from you. Unto the Father all praise, and the blest Spirit and the Son; As ever was, and is now, and shall be always. Amen.
