English text
What, Aaron drunk? ’tis a profane mistake,
sad times, devotion drunkenness to make,
Ay, sure he reels, poor man, he reads all day,
he studies hard and scarce can see his way,
But see, he spews! what matter’s that to thee?
’tis but a plentiful delivery.
Thus for each crime, the friends will find excuse,
but woe to him whom they’re disposed t’abuse.
