Qui velatus facie fuisti,
Et penurias sustinuisti,
Sol justitiæ,
Flexis illusus genibus,
Cæsus quoque verberibus,
Te petimus attentius,
Esto nobis propitius,
Et per tuam clementiam,
Perducas nos ad gloriam.

Hora qui ductus ter tia,
Fuisti ad supplicia,
Christe ferendo humeris,
Crucem pro nobis miseris,
fac sic te nos diligere,
Santamque vitam ducere,
Ut valeamus requie
Frui cælestis patriæ.

In flagellis potum fellis
Bibisti amarissimum,
Omni genti recolenti
Tuæ mor tis supplicium,
Da vir tutem et salutem,
Christe redemptor omnium.
Honor et benedictio
Sit crucifixo Filio,
Qui suo supplicio
Nos redemit ab inferno.

In amara crucis ara
Fudisti rivos sanguinis,
Jesu Christe, rex benigne,
Consors paterni luminis,
Sanguis Christi qui fuisti
Peremptor hostis invidi,
Fac nos ire et venire,
Ad coenam Agni providi.

Qui jacuisti mortuus
In petra rex innocuus,
Fac nos in te quiescere,
Semperque laude reddere,
Succurre nobis, Domine,
Quos redemisti sanguine,
Et duc nos ad coelestia
Aeternae pacis gaudia.

(S. Bonaventura)
