English text
To Harmony, seraphic maid!
Let zephyrs all their incense pay;
The stormy winds, by Spring allayed,
No more shall rule with chilling sway.
The nymphs who in the woody glade
Delight to pass their happy days,
Shall to thy name, in every shade,
Pay sweet devotion by their lays.
Impatient Time, by thee withheld,
Will throw aside his long-worn scythe,
And by thy heavenly art impelled,
Shall praise thy fame in sonnets blythe.
