- Edition notes: A small difference is that for the final two words in all five parts, Aleotti has written the singular lilium convallium (“lily-of-the- valley”) rather than the plural form lilia convallium (“lilies-of-the-valley”) that other composers of the period such as Massaino, Cima, Grandi, and Victoria chose when working with similar text. For consistency with the use of rosarum (“roses”), I have chosen the plural form, lilia.

- Edition notes: The Bass and Tenor I and Tenor 2 parts were transposed at the octave to become the Alto 2, Soprano 1 and Soprano 2 parts, respectively.
