The entry in Cathedral Music, Volume 2 (William Boyce) reads:
Adrian Batten, was Organist, and Vicar-Choral of the Cathedral Church of St. Paul, London, in the Reigns of King Charles the First, and Second.
There are many of his Compositions for the Church Service, still in Use.
