Tibi progenies unica Patris,
magnaeque Pater maxime Prolis,
damus arguto pectine laudes,
tremuloque chelin verbere plectimus.

Tu quae versat sidera mundus,
tu quas fruges Daedala tellus
alit, et quicquid pontus et aether
cohibent, nostros condis in usus.

Tu nostros Deus induis artus,
passusque necem crimina diluis,
cruce tu victus vincis Avernum,
imoque patres carcere vindicas.

Dum nos Erebi monstra lacesserent,
tua nos clipeo dextera texit,
dum jussa darent impia reges,
tu jussa dabas temnere regum.

Tu multa inter milia lectos
tibi nos socios in sceptra vocas,
ergo sequimur quocumque trahis
et festa tibi carmina pangimus.
