1. Was nit sol sein,
schickt sich je nit,
hilft Rat noch Bitt,
und ob damit
wird viel ausgricht,
ist doch all Hoffnung gar entwicht.
2. Was hin, ist hin,
sehn mich nit nach,
tu gar gemach,
auf dass nit lach,
der mir nichts gunt;
vielleicht kommt unverhoffte Stund.
3. Was bschaffen ist,
kommt mit der Zeit,
die nimmt und geit:
geduldig leit
das Widerspiel;
gefelt es Gott, so gscheh sein Will.
