Almighty God, eternal King,
To whom alone all power belongs,
Let all the earth Thy praises sing,
And laud Thy name in holy songs.

The thunder mutters forth Thy praise,
The fire and hail fulfill Thy word;
The stormy winds their tempest raise,
To Thee, their only sovereign Lord.
