Illustra faciem tuam super servum tuum,
salvum me fac in misericordia tua,
Domine non confundar quoniam invocavi te.

Quam magna multitudo dulcedinis tuae Domine
quam abscondisti timentibus te.
(Ps. 30;17-18a,20a)

English translation

Make your face shine upon your servant,
save me in your mercy.
Let me not be confounded, O Lord, for I have called upon you.

O how great is the multitude of your sweetness, O Lord,
which you have hidden for them who fear you!

Hungarian translation

Világítson orcád a te szolgádra,
szabadíts meg engem irgalmad által.
Uram! ne szégyenüljek meg, mert segítségül hívtalak téged.

Mily nagy, Uram, a te édességed sokasága,
melyet fönntartottál a téged félőknek!
