Nomine qui Domini prodit benedictus ab alto
Principe, rex duret Carolus atque regat,
floreat ac vigeat, virtute exterminet hostes,
 divitibus carus pauperibusque pius.
Et metuat nomen Domini, qui cuncta gubernat,
qui statuit reges, tempora pace fovens.

English.png English translation

King Charles comes in the name of the Lord, with the blessing of the supreme ruler (i.e. God):
long may he live and reign, and may he thrive, be strong and destroy his enemies valiantly.
May he be dear to the rich and kind to the poor,
fearing the name of the Lord, who rules all things and appoints kings.
May his reign be a time of peace.
